We’re currently working on a compilation of video highlights from Chicago’s Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally, but there’s already a great deal of footage from the rally posted on YouTube. Citizen journalism at its finest!

Following a spirited march from Federal Plaza to Daley Plaza, Father Frank “Rocky” Hoffman led off the rally with a rousing talk:



Dr. Erwin Lutzer, senior pastor of Chicago’s influential Moody Church, was very well received:

Also speaking at Chicago’s Stand Up Rally was Angela Miceli, a graduate student in political philosophy at Louisiana State University and a visiting fellow at the University of Notre Dame.

Like Sandra Fluke, Angela has been outspoken about the HHS Mandate, although obviously the two women have very different perspectives on it.

Incidentally, Sandra Fluke also spoke at a rally on Saturday. Her rally was attended by ten (10) people.

By contrast, 1,700 people attended the Stand Up Rally in Chicago:

    I do not live in Illinois but I was glad to come across this website and watch the video speeches of Father Frank Hoffman and Dr. (Pastor) Erwin Lutzer of Moody Church and see the camera sweeping over the enthusiastic rally crowd.
