STAND UP FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

Anglican Priest: This Is Not a Fight to Sit Out!

Posted by Matt Yonke (March 12, 2012 at 11:20 pm)

Fr. Kevin MillerIt’s been a great encouragement to see religious leaders of many faith traditions, not just Catholics, speaking out against Obama’s HHS Mandate since it is decidedly not just a Catholic issue.

This weekend, Anglican pastor Fr. Kevin Miller preached a home run of a homily, lighting a fire under his congregation at Church of the Resurrection in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Fr. Kevin made it perfectly clear that this issue will effect them as Anglicans. Drawing on the long tradition of Christians engaging in social activism, Fr. Kevin gave a clear call to action and encouraged them to get involved in fighting it in every way they can—including joining in the March 23 Rally in Chicago!

Listen to Fr. Kevin’s inspiring homily here. If your priest or pastor hasn’t spoken out about the Mandate, send them the link and encourage them to do so. Thanks to Fr. Kevin and all the courageous clergy who are inspiring the faithful to get active and stand up for religious liberty!

We will stand together. I don’t want to have to answer the question from my children who would say what were you so busy doing when they took away our religious freedom? We will stand…

This will be one more cause that the Catholic Bishops will sit out be neutral like the Anti-Abortion cause. The Catholic Bishops and my Pastor still support Obama and Obamacare. We were told to ignore the Democrats pro-abortion stand because they were on the side of the poor and needy. The Catholic Bishops supported a YES vote for Obama care and one day before that vote, they stated that it contained mandatory birth control and abortion and it should be voted down. Millions of us had been stating this fact for almost one year and were ignored. The Catholic Bishops only care was that the Catholic Hospitals, Catholic Universities, and catholic charities would continue to receive government funding. Now Catholic Schools, Hospitals, parishes, etc will be compelled to provide free abortions, birth control, and free condoms (in schools). Just like they did to us when we struggled to end abortion, they will remain neutral and surrender.

Marches, contributions, letters, etc., count me out I have already been stabbed once in the back and will not have it done again. Even my pastor refused to read or distribut the Bishop’s letter.

60 million dead babies and counting.

The devil has been able to rely on unfailing loyalty of brain-stained Democrats Party adherents everywhere he could find them, even amongst the clergy of many faiths. As a master of deceit the devil has succeeded in incapaciting his victims by preventing them from connecting the dots normally required to understand the concept of cause and effect.

Mercifully, the Holy Spirit has enlightened many in our midst that our work here on earth goes beyond abundant prayer and commands us to avulse the party in power so that its diabolical ideology will not disturb the tranquility of our beloved country.

We pray the Holy Spirit will constantly remind us of the precious blood spilled by our defenders of freedom and that Satan’s lustre of political correctness will be dulled by the Gospel Truth spoken by those who are enlightened and are fearless.
