@Nora,
Yes, the insurance company pays for it, but who pays the insurance company? The employer and the employee. In addition to that, companies are not a separate entity, a being to themselves. They are made up of people. And people are being forced to go against their consciences. And yes, birth control pills may be used for medical reasons, but most of the time, they are not. And abortion is not a life saving proceedure. And serilization for birth control reasons is not life saving. This comes down to the fact that the government is forcing people, citizens, to do something that they find morally wrong. Perhaps you think that it is no big deal. This does not concern you because you happen to like getting your birth control paid for by someone else. You think it is fair that churches should pay for this.
But what if the government told you that you have to be killed if you have a physical defect, or if you are too old? What if the government started telling what kind of house to live it or what kind of car to buy? At what point do we say, enough? At what point does it affect you? And at what point is it too late to change course?
Remember your history. Time out of mind, governments have controlled people, have decided who could live or die. From ancient Sparta, to present day China, government has striven to control people. Our government is suppossed to be limited. We are supposed to have liberty.
  Liberty is not freedom. Liberty is freedom from intrusive government. At what point, do you say that liberty is gone?

Yes, I firmly believe God did bless the U.S.A., but The government damned it. I pay my health insurance prem. in my bimonthly pay periods, but as a citizen of the U.S. I believe it is my right not to carry health insurance and if I get sick, it is my right to either pay for services rendered, or to go without medical tx and possibly die. Why should anyone step in and pay for anything because of the choices I've made as a competent individual.The gov. needs to focus or putting a ceiling on hospital charges, procedure cost and dr's fees. Then those who can't afford medical care can, if they choose, receive welfare from The gov. or Christian organizations. Give me freedom or give me death.

It is inspiring and if the message was true it would be awesome. Please do not condemn me, I only speak the truth. The mandate states that it will not require the institutions to pay for it, but the insurance companies, which they do already. Employers must pay for the insurance but they themselves do not pay for any specific procedure. It states the INSURANCE COMPANY not the employer must provide contraceptives if the patient requires it. We all should know by now, that these are used for medical purposes. These can be the difference between a woman bleeding to death and being able to live a normal life.
