STAND UP FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

International Week of Prayer & Fasting Starts Oct. 20

Of the many tools at our disposal for fighting against the HHS Mandate, one of the most important is prayer.

Today began the Novena to Stop the HHS Mandate, which will be prayed by tens of thousands over the next nine days leading up to the Nationwide Rally for Religious Freedom on Saturday, October 20th.

Incidentally, October 20th is also the start of the International Prayer and Fasting Campaign, which runs through November 6th—Election Day.

The campaign begins with an Eucharistic Prayer Vigil at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC on October 20.

Since the Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally in Washington was held on September 30 to coincide with ActsFive29, it seems providential that this prayer vigil will be held in our nation’s capital at precisely the same time that over 130 other cities across the country will be hosting their own Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rallies.
