STAND UP FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

Stand Up Rally on Las Vegas Boulevard

Las Vegas RallyAppreciative honks, waves, and thumbs from passers-by on Las Vegas Bouldevard birightened the smiles of people lining the street with the Stand Up For Relgious Freedom signs. Las Vegas is a city where it is very easy to find talented speakers and singers.

But it is difficult to find churches willing to support activist events. But 110 people, combined with the people on the street was a pure delight for God’s people. Our hour was packed with messages to inspire courage, perseverance, and commitment to ProLife troops. Our ProLifers are trained and experienced in cheerfulness, kindness, and cooperation.

As soon as leaders were on site, volunteers were showing up to take on the many tasks that filled the event with a sweet Spirit of kindness and mutual concern. This time, law enforcement showed none of the concern about what we were doing as at previous events. A single black and white drove by without stopping. The security officer at the federal building asked questions in a friendly manner. I stopped to thank him and say good-bye. He asked if we would be back in a few months.

That last conversation assured me that what we had done was pleasing to our Lord Jesus Christ. It was a privilege to be part of the October 20 Stand Up For Religious Freedom.
