21 22 Catholic Bishops Speaking at Rallies Tomorrow
Posted by Matt Yonke (March 22, 2012 at 12:27 pm)
With the Nationwide Rally for Religious Freedom now just one day away, 21 22 Catholic bishops are scheduled to speak at various Rallies across the country.
And, an additional five seven bishops have provided written statements that will be read at rally sites in their dioceses.
The Catholic bishops are the ones who led the call for resistance to the HHS Mandate, and it’s so encouraging to see them supporting our response.

Dear Reverend:
You do not have a uterus and will never be faced with a pregnancy. Quit infringing on my reproductive rights and my healthcare benefits.

Make sure you add Bishop Frank J Dewane of the Diocese of Venice! He will be speaking at the rally in Sarasota, FL!

It was announced at Mass today that Sean Cardinal O’Malley will also be issuing a statement. He says he’d be there but is officiating at a funeral.
Thanks,
Kelly

Amy kopatich, you are correct Rev. does not have a uterus he is a man and a man of God. however you are wrong because you have a uterus for a purpose, to be use for procreation in the santity of marriage and wasting it. No matter what, Jesus still loves you and he is waiting for you to open your heart and let him.
Don’t be bitter, Jesus loves you amy.

I am thankful for the number of Bishops who have commited to their presence at the rallies. In Baltimore, we have two! Praise God. I hope that many priests and other religious will also be in attendance. It would be nice to see a numbers count for them!

Amy Kopatich, can you explain to us just how exactly the Reverend is infringing on your reproductive rights?
March 24th, 2012 at 11:08 am
I notice Bishop Calvo of Reno is listed twice. I personally heard him speak and I think he deserves the two mentions. He was eloquent.

J, the only religion that I know of that claims you need to be their religion or you will burn in hell is Islam. Christian denominations all recognize that believers of other faiths are saved.

JESUS Said: Give To Cesar What It Is Of Cesar And To GOD What Is Of GOD. The Government Should Not Interfere With The Christian Belief! The Same Way That It Does Not Interfere With Others That Are Not Christians.

Just a quick correction to your list of Bishop’s who had a statement read at the Rallies. The Bishop of Bismarck, ND is Bishop David Kagan, and not Gerald. Thanks!

Only 30 bishops attended or had a statement read!!! Embarrassing! At least Bishop Olmsted in Phoenix represented the state of Arizona, good Bishop. As usual the Bishop of Tucson was pretty much missing from action on the subject. No mention of the rally in his Monday Memo blog, no statement mandated by him to be read at the parishes, nothing ever on his web home page about the mandate, small article about heads of Catholic organizations objecting hidden on page 10 of his newspaper, any statements by him in weeks past have been hidden in his memo online. MIA!

Amy-there is no such thing as “Reproductive Rights”. this is a sham invented by those who want to push their contraceptive agenda and lifestyle choices onto the rest of us and call it a ‘right’. I am a woman and you DO NOT speak for me. Get your boot off the neck of my RELIGIOUS FREEDOM ! There is a reason that Religious freedom was placed in the ‘First’ Amendment. Because it is a FIRST right. A right that is between ME and GOD, and should not be infringed upon. No one should presume to get between a person and God.

Also, Bishop Earl Boyea of Lansing had a statement read at the Flint Rally.
