The theme song for the Stand Up of Religious Freedom Rally in Augusta, Maine is God Bless the USA. This song address how many of us feel about the United States. Freedom was paid for with the blood of many—a sacrifice, so freedom will stand.
The words, “I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,” embraces the call every United States citizen, who cares about freedom has.
The purpose of the Religious Freedom Rally is to Stand Up and defend the rights given to us in the U.S. Constitution.
The HHS mandate attacks what most Americans value—freedom.
The First Amendment gives us the freedom of religion, but the Obama administration wants to take that away, so we must Stand Up and defend our rights and our freedom.
The following people will address why we must Stand Up for Religious Freedom at the June 8, 2012 rally in Augusta, Maine:
- Penny Morrell, Concerned Women of America of Maine
- Pastor Bob Emrich of the Maine Jeremiah Project
- Pastor Kevin Kidd, River Rock Christian Fellowship
- Carroll Conley, Executive Director of the Christian Civic League Laura McCown, Catholic Campus Minister at Colby College
- Ronald Pinkham, retired Baptist Pastor
Join us in Standing Up for Religious Freedom at the Edmund Muskie Federal Building on 40 Western Ave., in Augusta, Maine at 12:00 pm (noon) on June 8, 2012.
Is there anyone in our area in government who is a supporter of Stand up for freedom that could speak at a rally during the Fortnight of Freedom June 21st to July 4th?I live in Avalon new Jersey (a shore community in the south)?
