We are proud to say that on October 20th, 2012, Jacksonville Fl held their “Stand up for Religious Freedom” at Riverside Park. Our attendance was great with approximately 150 people in attendance.
Much like the other’s, Jacksonville’s Rally had faithful volunteers who dedicated themselves to the work of Christ. As Christians we need to continue to motivate our people, to stand strong in faith. As it is through Him and Him alone that we are able to gather on city streets to worship as one body. Most countries no longer permit any sort of public expression of faith and we are truly thankful for ours, here in the United States of America. [Continue reading ...]

Stand Up Rally #3
Having secured speakers for the third Owensboro Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally, we expected a letter from our U.S. Congressman to be read to us by one of his staff members.
Moments before noon, she informed us that the Congressman was on his way to our rally! We were certainly pleased that he had rearranged a full schedule to come join us! Rep. Guthrie told the crowd that he would continue representing his constituents by vigorously fighting against the HHS Mandate.
“Rest assured I am doing my part in Washington to help overturn this destructive rule. As many of you know, I am a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and its Health Subcommittee which has held several hearings on this rule during which I have expressed my opposition. I will continue to hold the Obama Administration accountable and will continue to encourage my colleagues in Washington to do the same.”

The theme of this June 8 Rally in Woodstock, Illinois was “A little child shall lead them.” The children’s choir from the Vine Church in Woodstock opened the rally by leading the crowd in singing Lee Greenwood’s song, Proud to be an American.
And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me. …
On Memorial Day Weekend, everybody sang and prayed, praised our military, both past and present, and, especially when Taps was played so soulfully, we didn’t forget the men who died for that freedom we so cherish. [Continue reading ...]

A crowd of 300 gathers to STAND UP in Athens, Georgia
Athens, Georgia is well known by its residents as a hub of liberal politics where anything with so much as a right-wing stripe is summarily dismissed. Yet, this hotbed of liberal ideology–the home of Georgia’s flagship university–still managed to produce 300 protesters for Friday’s Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally.
This level of attendance represents a 50 percent increase over the attendance at the March 23 Stand Up Rally in Athens. In a community where the prevailing viewpoint is left-leaning, to say the least, opposition to this administration’s obstruction of religious liberty is growing. [Continue reading ...]

The second huge, nationwide Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally is only days away, and I thought you’d appreciate a quick reminder.
When you come out for the Rally next Friday, June 8 at Terry Shrunk Plaza, you will be joining people of faith in over 153 cities across the country in opposing President Obama’s HHS Mandate.
You’ll be adding your voice to the millions denouncing the Mandate, which requires ALL employers — even religious charities — provide free contraceptives, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs through their health plans. [Continue reading ...]
