The West Roxbury Stand Up Rally and Vigil was a beautiful event. A massive downpour and lightening shower rolled through the neighborhood an hour before the event was to start. But as we set up the stage and podium, a cool breeze like the Holy Spirit swept through the streets. The skies cleared and the sun beamed bright.
Over 135 people from all over the Parkway and points north and south attended the event. Our event began with a prayer vigil on the Holy Name Rotary. We gathered together on the lawn in the shadow of Holy Name Church at 6:30pm. Father Carlson, the pastor of Holy Name gave a blessing and asked us to have perseverence as we prayed for our political leaders to have the courage and wisdom to help defeat the HHS Mandate.
The 141 attendees stood shoulder to shoulder around the inner park of the rotary. The vast majority of vehicles were very supportive as they passed. (This is a high visibility park.) The event was a huge success with a high number of families with young children coming by after work. [Continue reading …]

The list of cities taking part in today’s Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally now stands at 164—far surpassing the 145 cities that participated in the first Stand Up Rally on March 23.
The number of cities on board for today’s Nationwide Rally shows that the massive turnout seen at that first Rally on March 23 was hardly a one-time phenomenon.
Opposition among the American people to the HHS Mandate’s assault on religious freedom is intense—and getting stronger!
From Augusta, Maine to Miami, Florida to Fairbanks, Alaska to Honolulu, Hawaii the American people are sending a message that we will not stand idly by while the federal government forces all employer health plans to provide free contraceptives, sterilizations, and abortion-inducing drugs, regardless of any moral or religious objections.
Later tonight, you don’t want to find yourself saying, “I wish I had gone to the Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally.”
Don’t be that guy. Be there!
Check out the Locations Page to see all the cities taking part and find a Rally near you!

HOWELL, MI – Rally planners are overwhelmed with support. In Livingston County Michigan the outpouring of goodwill has created a wave of encouragement that will be a force to regain Americans’ freedom to practice religion as individuals define it, not as a government agency defines it.
The grassroots Howell Rally will educate about the ramifications of the HHS mandate. The mandate requires those who believe contraceptive and abortion-inducing drugs harm women and end lives to purchase and provide these drugs to others. [Continue reading …]
