WOW! What an amazing day we had — the rain held out until the finish of the rally and the sun shone.
We had about 200 people show up, about 50 more than the last rally on March 23. We also had 3 news teams that showed up which was 2 more than the first rally.
Since we were unable to obtain speakers we held a vigil with scripture readings, hymns and a psalm reading. We did take some time to allow a few people to come forward to let us know why they were there and what religious freedom meant to them. [Continue reading …]

Howell, Mchigan: Over 500 people joined together to protest the unconstitutional HHS mandate and Stand Up For Religious Freedom on Friday, June 8.
The unique gathering of speakers, doctors, lawyers, insurance professionals, and religious leaders from numerous denominations shared how the HHS mandate will infringe upon freedom.
Insurance professional Cynthia Dudek stated “There is a great deal at stake. Insurance is a “contract” and the government is in essence telling us we do not have the freedom to contract. The government is now establishing the Terms and Conditions under which we must abide, or face the penalties and consequences, of rejecting the demands of the current ruling regime.”
Helena, Billings, and Glasgow, Montana drew 243 participants in the Stand Up for Religious Freedom rally that took place on June 8 as part of a nationwide effort.

At the Chicago Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally on June 8, our first speaker was national Rally Co-Director and Pro-Life Action League Executive Director Eric Scheidler.
Eric laid out his vision for victory in the fight for religious liberty where religious institutions are respected and valued—not just tolerated—for the gifts they have to bring to society and especially to healthcare.

55 dedicated souls showed up for the rally that took place at the Kansas District Court House in Kansas City, KS. The rally was opened by a prayer by Father Hermann pastor of Old St. Patrick’s in Kansas City, MO.
A young man with an excellent voice led the crowd in God Bless America. Signs and buttons were distributed. Some even brought their own signs. A half dozen participants came forward to address the crowd.
The crowd, while smaller than hoped for, nevertheless was enthusiastic and are in it for the long haul. The point was made that we didn’t get here overnight, and we won’t return America to her former moral greatness overnight either. It is going to take perseverance.
